I worked for the University news for a year and half.  I was a reporter for four months and wrote three articles. Then, I was promoted to managing editor where I wrote four more articles and managed content. Finally, in May of 2017, I became editor in chief. Since then I have continued to write but I've also changed the layout of the paper, helped bring our deficit down more than $2,000, and reworked our website to showcase other media such as video and audio.
